Blocked Bathroom Sink

Blocked bathroom sinks are the topic of today, although there won't be much variation today than there was in the previous posting that look at blocked kitchen sinks. We will see the same gurgling sound and perhaps easily notice the strange smell, whilst the water may be draining slowly or not at all. When we looked at the kitchen sinks, it was referenced that the common cause would usually be either food debris or cooking fats. With the bathroom sink blockage, the likely cause would either be hair or perhaps a soap scum blockage. Foreign objects such as jewellery and toys could of course have made their way down the sink.

Kitchen blocked sinks are very common whereby the water is draining very slowly or perhaps not even draining at all. This would usually be supported by a gurgling sound and there may be a strange smell. There could be a variety of causes of a blocked kitchen sink, with food debris and cooking fats being common. It could be the case that a foreign object may have caused the blocked kitchen sink, such as perhaps an item of jewellery that would be a concern. A plumber would fix a blocked kitchen sink either by a simple tool or via special machinery for a stubborn blockage.

Blocked Drains Introduction

Blocked drains can be very problematic and will need to be fixed as soon as possible. Indoor blockages can take place via the bathroom or kitchen whereby many of us will be at fault. Outdoor drain blockages take place more accidentally when perhaps dead leaves build up or even tree roots find their way into the pipes. One of the problems with indoor blocked drains is that not all of us may be fully aware of what materials shouldn't be directed down the drain. Even those that take due care may see problems arise, most commonly when there are children in the household.
