Start with what is backing up

A chamber can tell you much more than the wet patch or gurgling you see indoors. If wastewater reaches one chamber but the next downstream stays clear, the obstruction lies between them. If both are clear, work back towards the affected appliance.

If the same drain keeps blocking

Choose the repair after you have seen the defect

Repairs should match the length and severity of the defect shown on camera. One joint may need a patch. A longer but still open run may take a liner. A section that has physically closed or shifted across the bore normally has to be exposed.
